About the NGO
Our NGO RCDSSS, who has been working for more than 100 years in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India, welcomes you and invites you to join us.
If you want a different experience and if you want to get to know real India, then come and work as a volunteer in one of our 20 projects, specifically in "diksha", a program that provides education to the most disadvantaged and needy children.
The only requirement you need to volunteer is a good command of English. If you are young or old, if you want to come only 2 weeks or a long period, you are welcome at any time during the year, if you want to help poor children.
The project started with 18 children and during the last 5 years 272 children have already been part of the program. Diksha currently cares for 230 children, but there are still 28 waiting and needing urgent help.
There are many actions that diksha performs, thanks to the financial support it receives, to help these children and their families, when they really need it.
The NGO is in charge of dealing with the most needy cases that live in a very precarious situation without livelihoods and any help is welcome, your support is fundamental and we require what you can contribute to save these children.
